Top scientists from European outstanding research 'partnering organizations' as well as experts from business associations or similar organizations with very close relations with companies were invited for exchange of know-how, experience and guidance for the shaping of a research agenda meaningful for Agrifood SMEs throughout the Southeastern European and Mediterranean region. Specifically, there are twelve (12) partners from all over Europe involved in the GREEN-AgriChains project.

Best Young Researcher Award (Biomass)

One of the senior post-doctoral researchers of the GREEN-Agrichains project, Dr. Agorasti-Eri Toka, was awarded as the Best Young Researcher on Biomass at World Sustainable Energy Days 2015 (24-26 February, Wels/Austria) by Mr. Rudi Anschober, Regional Minister for Energy, Upper Austria and Mr. Gerhard Dell, Director of OÖ Energiesparverband, Austria.
