Description
The GREEN-AgriChains project aims at tackling all aspects of Green Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics, focused on the Agrifood sector. In this framework, it will deal with sustainable farming, reverse logistics, green procurement and sourcing, waste management and packaging reuse, transportation, energy consumption efficiency, green marketing, green accounting, and corporate social responsibility.
Coordination
The GREEN-AgriChains project will be coordinated by the Laboratory of Quantitative Analysis, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).
Objectives
The GREEN-AgriChains project aims at strengthening the expertise and research in the fields of Agrifood supply chain management and logistics, through a coherent set of measures that will support and mobilize the human and material resources and promote knowledge transfer and innovation.
