The International Hellenic University and Industry and the Laboratories of Quantitative Analysis, Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LA.S.C.M.) and of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering (L.H.T.E.E.) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, as well as the Laboratory of Alternative Energy Resources of the Agriculture of the School of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.), organized the Fifth Information Day within the scope of the EU-funded Project GREEN-AgriChains: "Innovation Capacity Building by Strengthening Expertise and Research in the Design, Planning and Operations of Green Agrifood Supply Chains".

The scope of the "GREEN-AgriChains: Fifth Info Day" was to assist in disseminating the scope and the achievements of the GREEN-Agrichains Project, especially to the student communities of the A.U.Th., the International Hellenic University and the Technological Education Institute of Central Macedonia. Additionally, the keynote speaker Dr. Theologitis along with Prof. Iakovou and Prof. Moussiopoulos explored project proposals on the field of sustainable logistics and supply chain management that could receive financial support from the HORIZON 2020 funding scheme of the European Commission.
