Dr. Chryssoula Nikita-Martzopoulou is a Professor in the Department of Hydraulics, Soil Science and Agricultural Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Professor Martzopoulou is the head of the laboratory of “Agricultural Structures and Equipment” that she created in 1990 on her own. The Laboratory of Agricultural Structures and Equipment focuses on research activities in Agricultural Control Structures and Forestry. Professor Nikita-Martzopoulou has been actively involved in many National and International Symposiums, Conferences and Workshops (over 40), in some of them as invited speaker, and she has officially visited several Universities abroad, in the frame of official collaborations. She participates in the national committee for the establishment of technical specifications of greenhouses in Greece and she is a member of several scientific societies and technical councils. She has also published a number of scientific articles, research papers, scientific studies and books.
